Step I EGO)  lives at the bottom. Control is gone. The surface is fractured, repetitive, and overwhelmed—circles collapsing into themselves, gestures breaking apart, paint bleeding downward. This is the moment of admission, not as clarity, but as exhaustion: life no longer works, and pretending costs too much.
Step II (GOD)is not hope—it’s necessity. The decision to let go isn’t spiritual comfort, it’s survival. The composition opens, color sharpens, and movement becomes deliberate, but the drips remain. Nothing is erased. This is surrender with consequences, turning toward something else because the alternative is disappearance.
 
Together, these works reflect recovery as a life-or-death practice—not progress, not polish, but choosing to stay. Again. And again.
